PURE Capsaicin is a hydrophobic, colorless, odorless, and crystalline to waxy compound. It is highly recommended that you use some form of eye protection, face protection, gloves, and tweezers when handling. (SHU) = Scoville Heat Units. Pure Capsaicin also comes in liquid form with a oil or alcohol base. At 15 to 16 Million SHU this stuff is seriously powerful and isn’t intended to be consumed directly. It’s uses incude: Food additive, (example- put a drop or two in a whole pot of chili), pest deterrent, or for medical, self defense or scientific research.
